Our house has been very loud lately

Ha. My dog is afraid of the new cat. Really. I think he is. The new cat is very cute and small and sqeaky. That’s all it ever does! As it walks across the floor, as it jumps up onto the couch, as it sits on your lap, as it curls around your neck. Always with the sqeaky “mew” noise.
Anyways. The dog. He’s a dumbass and isn’t too bright. When he was a puppy we had grown cats in the same house. I swear my dog doesn’t realize that the new cat is the same as the old cats only smaller. Winston will be laying on the floor and the cat will come into his line of sight. I swear he is scared and then he barks! That is all the dog has been doing. Randomly barking when he sees the cat. But not all the time. It is almost at random.
