Australian quarantine

Ha! A little while ago I sent of a few packages to Australia and to Norway. Its part of a thing at the Knitty Boards called Random Acts of Kindness. People post what they would like, knitting and non-knitting related, and if other members feel like it they request mailing addresses and send out packages. Kool Aid was on sale so I sent the 2 packages away.
Quaffy got her package in the mail not too long ago. In the package I also included a twig pencil that was made locally. It was quarantined by the Australia Post because its made of bark (duh) and
"are likely to introduce exotic pests or diseases into Australia."Ha! If I had of know that I would have sent something else.
More on my fun weekend when I get home. I will also have pictures to post to Flickr. Yay for digital camera's and drunkeness!!
