Nicole's Birthday Weekend

So. This past weekend was so much fun! I am really glad that Nicole got the initiative to get everything planned and well ahead of time so we could all plan to be there. Yay Nicole! This is mostly for my own memory, its going to be pretty ... well ... boring and "this is what happened". You are forwarned.

So its Nicoles birthday on Wednesday and we went to the Druid on Saturday to celebrate. I left work early on Friday and headed into the city. Really fast drive too, no traffic at all. First stop, yarn store. River City Yarns in fact. Nice store, lots of nice yarn. I spent $96 on yarn there and that made me very happy. More on that later. I need to take pics :) Then I got a haircut, finally and its very short, and hung out with Heather and her mom. Then we headed out to see a movie. Charlene and I saw Harry Potter IV and Heather and Nicole saw Walk the Line.

HP IV was ok. I liked HP III better. This one just seemed long. We didnt get back to Charlene's place til 1:30. So late! Charlene had to work on Saturday so Heather and I saw a movie, The Ice Harvest then hung around West Ed for a while. We ended up back at Charlene's so we could all get ready.

I offered to drive to the Druid and leave the car cause I was definately drinking. I had a really good time. There were a lot of people from Nicole's work who showed up and lots of pictures were taken on my camera. They were all babies (18 or 19) but it was still fun. The Druid is my favorite bar to go to. Its fun there.

And then on Sunday I drove home. It was really more fun than I made it sound. It was fun to have everyone together both drunk and not drunk. I miss my friends and I liked being all together
