Eerie fog

I saw one of the eeriest things last night. I left work at 4:40pm and it was almost dark. The Christmas lights and the street lights were all lit but the sky was clear. Venus was very bright. So I drive out of the parking lot and head over to the drug store. Its about on the other side of town from the College. I spent maybe 15 minutes in the drug store (my drugs werent ready so I had to waste time). On my drive home from the drugs store, what is actually a big loop around town I notice its gotten a little foggy since I parked the car. I am driving down my street and look out the driver side window and I can see the fog rolling in.
Out the window I can see the rounded edge of this bank of fog move over the buildings on the main drag. The sky is still clear out behind me, but just a sliver of it. I get into the parking lot of my building and as I am walking to my building I can see the fog swirling around the far end of it. I look up and can see the clear bottom of this part of the fog bank rolling over the top of my building. You have no idea how eerie this was.
And the fog was thick! You couldnt see the other apartment building when I was standing on the opposite end of the parking lot. It was crazy! I have never in my life see fog roll in. I have seen it kind of drop from a low cloud or wake up to it. This was just creepy. This morning everything was covered in a good thick coating of hoar frost.
I know, I know. More weather talk. But when you live in a small town and you arent one to tell gossip there isnt much else to talk about.
