Finally got me

We had an EMT and Paramedic intake this morning. We had twins register and I swear they looked like hobbits. Only with shorter hair and goatees. Very cute.
Usually I dont take much notice of Friday the 13ths. I'm not that superstitious. Well it finally got me. I got a $50 parking ticket, issued by the city in fact so I have to pay it. My tire that went flat the night before couldnt be repaired and I ended up buying 4 new tires, getting the alignment done and an oil change. $500 worth of work on the car. It also took longer than they said.
Otherwise the weekend was good. Saw 3 movies, Fun with Dick and Jane, Brokeback Mountain and Last Holiday. All were good. Dick and Jane was cute, Brokeback Mountain was quiet and bittersweet and Last Holiday was funny and sweet. All good movies everyone should see. Actually I think I read to much fic. Either that or I should have read more about BBM because I was expecting way more angst. Much more angst. And what has been said by many other people goes for me too. I'm glad it wasnt just a gay-cowboy-sex movie. It was lovely that there was more than that. I also didnt realize the whole thing lasted for so long, 20 years. I still dont like guys in mustaches. Doesnt matter how hot Jake is, the 'stache was just gross.
