Movies and music

I have watched so many movies this weekend. Really its crazy.

  • Wedding Crashers - Not as funny as I was expecting it to be. After all the hype I read this summer I was disapointed. I think I was expecting more of an "American Pie" or "Meet the Parents" type of movie. Not that good really.
  • The Ice Harvest - Watched this one again. It was funnier the second time around. Still love John Cusack. Loved how he looked at the end of the movie, so crappy and rundown. Man down! hee.
  • North Country - Watched this one again as well. Still a good movie. Still love Charlize Theron and Frances McDormand. Also Sean Bean? Such a crap accent. But still nice to look at. Not to mention Woody Harrelson.
  • Wallace and Gromit and the Curse of the Were Rabbit - This was so funny! I wasnt expecting it to be so goofy but I really enjoyed it. And still amazed that the whole thing (well most of it anyways) was done in plastacine. That just amazes me to no end.
  • Jarhead - This was a good movie. I like Jake Gyllenhaal and Peter Sarsgaard so that was a plus coming into it. It was good. Made me want to read the book it was based on. Also? Love a shaved head.
  • Red Eye - This was pretty good too. I knew it was Wes Craven but it wasnt a blodd and guts horror movie. I was surprised by it, but pleasently.
  • In Her Shoes - This one ended up being a bit of a weeper. I still cant stand Cameron Diaz. You could also see how the book was written, with parts being devoted to each sister separately. Dont want to read the book.
  • The Weatherman - I liked this one. It wasnt a funny as the trailers made it out to be but it was amusing and sweet and sad. I liked it.
  • Four Brothers - This was much better than I had read about. The premise was a bit ridiculous but over all it was pretty good. We totally called which brother was getting killed. Like in the 1st scene. And who doesnt like some senseless violence once in a while?

Since seeing The New World I have not been ableto stop listening to this peice of music. It is (part of I think) Entrance Of Gods Into Valhalla by Wagner. It was a perfect choice for the opening of the movie and I can not get enough of it. It just grows and builds and is completely climactic. Love it.
