Odd, funny things

I saw three odd, funny things on the train ride home last night.
First, the train was stopped at a red light downtown. I saw some guy getting a ticket for what I am asuming was jaywalking. He was getting very upset and the lady who was giving the ticket wasnt to calm herself. I saw her tell him "Stop that right now!" Then she called for backup (or something) cause then some guy, her partner maybe, showed up. As soon as the partner got onto the sidewalk the other guy calmed right down. Serves him right, there are signs up saying not to jaywalk.
Secondly, the train was stopped at another red light. On the street across from me was another station and on one of the cement pillar things was a small white-orange-and-black cat. It wasnt scared or anything. In fact it was quite calmly laying on the pillar while being stared at by at least 8 people. It didnt look like a stray, I thought I saw a collar. I was just very impressed by how calm it was around all that action. You know, 5pm downtown busyness.
Last, I walked home from the bus stop through one of the alleys by my place. On one of the dumpsters out back I read "I am the eggman" written on one and then "I am the walrus" written on the next one. Funny!
This was the kind of random crap I missed when I lived up north. Variety in the daily stuff you see. You cant help but have variety in a city this big.
