I am feeling rather spammy seeing as there is crap on tv tonight. So I bring you old meme's with a helping of links.IF YOUR LIFE WAS A MOVIE, WHAT WOULD THE SOUNDTRACK BE?
So, here's how it works:
1. Open your library (iTunes, Winamp, Media Player, iPod, etc)
2. Put it on shuffle
3. Press play
4. For every question, type the song that's playing
5. When you go to a new question, press the next button

Do you like your names?
1. Are you named after anyone? If so, explain. Yes, my mom's mom. Elizabeth Barker. She was Betty and my mom swore I would aways be Elizabeth. But lo an behold, around the time I was 11 or 12 I started to be Liz. Now I am just that, Liz. Being called Elizabeth weirds me out a bit. Like I expect to be yelled at or something. And my middle name, Jane, is apparently from my mom's family but a couple generations back.
2. Do you have your children's names picked out already? If so, is there any significance? Despite that I am not having any I do have names picked out. Girls names are Sadie Lyn and Lucy Jane. Sadie and Lucy because I'm a fangirl and they are from Bealtes songs. Lyn becuase its my mom's name (well Marilyn) and I like it and Jane because it's my name. Boys names are Duncan and Jack. I had middle names picked out, probably Robert or James (as they are family names on both sides) but I cant remember them at this point. I just like the names. They are strong names and despite the name calling that would ensue for poor ol' Duncan, I like it.
3. If you were born a member of the opposite sex what would your name have been? If I was a boy I would have been named Nathanial James. My brother, who is James Robert, would have been Rebecca Alwyn. I love that middle name. Its my dad's mom's middle name (Lorelle Alwyn). Its very pretty.
4. If you could re-name yourself what name would you pick and why? When I was a kid I wasnt a fan of my whole name (Elizabeth Jane) and really hated my middle name. Its so plain I really dont know why I hated it so much. I guess tho that now I am Liz I am happy with my name. It's who I am. I'm not Elizabeth anymore, I am Liz. So no, I wouldnt change it.
5. Are there any mispronunciations/typos that people do with your name constantly? I get Lynn a lot. The odd Lisa. When I worked in a call centre I used to get Ruth all the time. I still have no idea how they get Ruth from Liz. This is why I hardly ever give my real name when ordering things over the phone. If I call for a cab or for pizza it's for Molly or Jane. Heh, sometimes when I go out for dinner and they ask for a name I will give one of the above. It's just easier than repeating ""No, Liz. LIZ!""
AFI 100 Years / 100 Movies meme, maybe? Strike out the ones you've seen, bold the ones you own. This is proof enough of how I really haven't seen as many movies as people seem to think.
