So I am back, again. Yet again. I gots me a new computer! No more piece of crap, moody laptop. I now have an HP Pavilion dv2000 laptop. I really like it. It feels 100 times better and faster and larger than my old one. I am really happy with it. So this means I will be online a little bit more than I have been. Heh, probably a whole lot more.

Not much is going on these days. Stampede is finally over, and I have pretty much the same things to say this year as I did last year. Its been really hot here for the past week. Close to 30 everyday. So naturally I am dying. I really dont like temperatures above 25 degrees. It is too hard to get cool in this kind of heat. You just sit and sweat. Which is gross. (I just checked the weather and it looks like we've got some showers coming. yays!) Work has A/C so its not bad there, and home must be facing the best direction because even though I am on the 3rd floor, its not so hot up here. It was warmer in Edmonton at the place I had in Riverbend. And by the morning, its nice and cool in here when the hallway is still hot.

Work has been busy. Things have been changing, people have left, more people are leaving. That kind of sucks cause its the cool people that I made friends with that going. I still really like what I do and am willing to put up with (? deal with?) the changes. For how bad it was in April and May, July is awesome in comparison. I'm not doing what I was last year, my "role" has changed. But its a good change. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel and its not just a pinprick anymore.

Otherwise things are ok. I am heading up to Edmonton this weekend to see Mama Mia. Shirley is turning 60 this month and has decided she is going to treat Mom, me, April, Aleysha (maybe Kezzia I am not sure) to a show. They are coming in early-ish and I will be meeting them around noon so they can hit the Wal-Mart and the good dollar stores. Maybe we might see a movie. I am really looking forward to it. I havent seem them since Christmas! I miss my family.

One last thing. Check out the moodtheme. Its what I did this afternoon. What a pain in the ass process that is! And I didnt even do any of the image hunting stuff. I just had to install it! Its a lovely Band of Brothers moodtheme. I love those guys. And it almost goes with the green and brown colour theme I have going on. We will see how long they last.

Ok, so yes. Back again. We'll see for how long. (I really need to stop saying that. Its getting annoying to me. So that means it must be driving everyone else crazy). And for anyone who cares, I am thinking of rehauling the website. I just finished reading Transcendng CSS and it got me thinking. That will probably end up being a summer project for me. yay!
