I've been watching a lot of tv on DVD lately.

Season 3 of the Office was my latest buy. I'm up to the one where Dwight quits and I LOVE IT! Andy is so goddam annoying. Like Uber-Micheal annoying. The relationship is very much like the Micheal-Ryan thing, and I love it from this angle. Funny! Just about the only thing I like about Andy is his bold stripe ties. In the immortal words of Micheal "Big weirdo creep". Pam and Roy are so very cute, the whole Roy not taking advantage of Pam. Awwww. Still dont like Angela. Love Phyllis though, she's so adorable! As much as I love the show, sometimes it is just to uncomfortable to watch. I have to absolutely turn my head away and not watch. And the deleted scenes are hilarious!

Ha! At work, at the receptionists desk, there is a daytimer that shows who's off for the day. I check it today to see if my boss is back (she's been on holidays) and I see "Dwight S" and think "Wha?! We dont have a Dwight Shrute working here!" The amount of effort that was involved to think of the guys real name and realize it wasnt a tv character who was on holidays was pathetic, even for a Monday morning.

I finished watching season one of Heroes last week and completely enjoy that show. I loved Adrian Pasdar in Profit, that weird fucked up show, and enjoy the almost complete creep he is. Milo is cute but will almost always be Jess in my head. I really like Mr Bennet (but did I miss something when he said his name was Noah? Besides that he gave his first name?) and I love Hiro and Ando! They are completely adorable. Ando is the most awesome sidekick! And sadly I really want a Nissan Versa. I am not sure how I am going to make it through the season. I am really used to clicking the next button and getting the next ep right away. I want to know more about the parent of these heroes, like the Patrelli parents, Mr Deveaux, Hiro's father (SULU!!), and of course Mr Linderman. Many questions there.

Oh! And I also watched the Dresden Files. The show is pretty awesome. About a wizard named Harry. But older and not British, in Chicago and not Hogwarts. The show, and the books they are based on, are like the old detective radio shows. He calls all the ladies Miss or Ms, such a gentleman. A real nice guy, you dont see them much in media these days. And the magic he preforms in the books, not as much in the show, I really like the idea behind it. That its powered by emotion, regardless of what kind, fear anger frustration love, and uses that to fuel the magic. Its pretty cool. Good show, the effects are decent and believable and Toronto passes well as Chicago. Sad that there has been only one season. But there are more books to read and thats good.

And I have Alias Season One in the mail somewhere on the way from somewhere in the states. I had a surprise in the mail today, some yarn I ordered. It was literally stuffed in my mailbox. It was pretty awesome. I also finished reading The Prestige, and it was pretty cool. Worth the read even if you have seen the movie. And I think for my Tuesday non-self-destruct move-thon I am going to see 3:10 to Yuma. Yup, I think so
