A little slice of sabotage pie

Another movie round up. I really have nothing better to talk about.Went and saw Into The Wild. I enjoyed it. The kid who played the main character, Emile Hirsch, reminds me very much of Aston Kutcher. It was a little distracting at times. I must admit my mind went to much worse things during the movie. He goes through some tough crap but I was expecting much, much worse. Or for the old guy to be a paedophile or something. I saw this a week ago and I can still not get the last image of Chrispther McCandless out of my head. It is haunting. And OMG were William Hurt & Marcia Gay Harden amazing in this as the parents.
Friday I saw Death at a Funeral. It was really frickin funny. A wee bit absurd but funny. Matthew Macfadyen was great as the put upon son, Rupert Graves as the famous writer son, Alan Tudyk was awesome what with the drugs, and it had Nick from My Family! I love Nick! OH! And Peter Dinklage. I love him too (watch The Station Agent. That's another good one). Funny, funny movie. Actualy, now thinking about it, I laughed more at this one than I did at Superbad.
This weekend I watched Into The Land of Women. I really enjoyed this one too. I like Meg Ryan. She doesn't drive me nuts like she does for other people. She was really believable in this movie. I had to think about this, but I don't think she has played a mom before. She pulled it off. I love Adam Brody. He was good in this, not too much Seth Cohen and just enough Dave Rygalski for me. I made a little resolution to see more of his stuff. He is really adorkable. I was surprised I liked it as much as I did considering how short a run it had in theatres. Go figure.
Finally watched Mr Brooks. It was pretty crap. If I had paid money to see it I would have demanded the theatre give it back. I have decided I really don't like Kevin Costner. He is not that great of an actor. He isn't as bad as say, Ben Affleck, but he is getting there. And the bowties? Please, give me a break. Dane Cook should stick with stand up. He's a pretty crap dramatic actor. Demi Moore wasn't as annoying as I usually find her. The only redeeming factor of this movie was William Hurt as the inner bad guy. He was pretty good.
I watched Transformers for the first time since I saw it in the theatre. It is still a pretty dam good movie. Shia LaBeouf is an incredible comic actor, but he holds his own in this as an action star as well. I adore his parents (Nadine from Grace Under Fire! I love her!) and John Tuturro was hilarious. Hmm maybe I should watch it again.

I just sneezed and hiccuped at the same time. Weird. | This is my last night working here.
